Johnny Hachem is a Lebanese-Ukrainian composer and pianist based in the USA. He has won numerous international awards, including the 2009 International Award for Music Composition at The International Composition Conference (Cergy-Pontoise, France), the 2024 Master Prize at the UK International Composition Competition (United Kingdom), the 2024 Diamond Prize at the World Exceptional Musicians Competition (Europe), the 2024 Platinum Award at the Best Classical Musicians Awards International Composition Competition (United Kingdom), the 2024 First Prize with Special Mention at the Classical Music Stars International Composition Competition (Warsaw, Poland), the 2024 Special Prize at the Busan Maru International Music Festival (Busan, South Korea), and the 2021 Third Prize at the Classic Pure Vienna International Composition Competition (Vienna, Austria).

 

Johnny has performed his compositions as a soloist at numerous concerts and international festivals in Ukraine, Lebanon, Switzerland, the USA, France, Austria, Germany, England, Spain, Poland, Romania, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Belarus, South Korea, Jordan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar. His composition “Jacob & Rachel: The Love Story” was featured at Mozart’s House in Vienna, Austria, in October 2021.
He has also composed the music for many films, most notably the documentary film I Knocked on the Temple’s Door. His repertoire includes a piano concerto, clarinet concerto, violin concerto, and a wide range of instrumental and orchestral compositions that have been performed across Europe and the Middle East. His music has been broadcast on various radio stations in the Middle East, Europe, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Central America, and the Caribbean. Johnny was a professor at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music and holds a Master’s degree in Composition with distinction.
